Rent is going up
Average rent rose 3.6% compared to a year earlier and it will keep going up year after year. Home values have declined by 30 to 40% since the peak in early 2006. The interest rates are at historically low but won’t stay that way forever. Truly, owning a home has never been so affordable in the past half century. The fear of further declines in real estate will lead a lot of people to miss the boat.
